Well, this week I managed to run for a whole 20min without stopping. I've finally sorted out the speed and walk sections and can now plod much more successfully and much more consistently.
Progress is much quicker than I expected and really pushes me on to achieve more and more as each run passes.
This week also saw me run in the city for the first time. I obviously expected to be yelled at by strangers but ... amazingly no one cared that I was plodding round. It was v successful at 15min run - and 5 mins fast walk. Very different running on the pavement though, my shins felt the difference but it was nice running in a new place and just thinking about time rather than about how far I'd managed.
